Our applications available on the Zendesk Marketplace (such as Okta Admin Pro) operate within the Zendesk agent interface and adhere to the following data practices:
- Customer Data Access: Our apps access third-party service data (such as Okta user profiles) using API credentials that you provide during installation. These credentials are stored securely using Zendesk’s built-in encrypted secure settings and are never accessible to SaaS Aid or any third party.
- No Data Storage: Our apps do not store, cache, or persist any customer, end-user, or agent data outside of the active Zendesk session. All data is fetched in real time from your connected services and displayed only within the Zendesk agent interface.
- No External Data Sharing: No customer data, ticket content, end-user information, or agent activity is transmitted to SaaS Aid servers or any third party beyond the services you have explicitly configured (e.g., your Okta tenant).
- Audit Logging: When enabled by an administrator, our apps may log actions as internal notes on Zendesk tickets. These notes remain within your Zendesk instance and are not transmitted externally.
- Usage Analytics: We collect anonymous, non-personally-identifiable usage analytics (such as feature usage counts and app load events) to improve our products. No names, email addresses, ticket content, or end-user data is included in these analytics. Analytics data is processed by Mixpanel and is subject to Mixpanel’s Privacy Policy.
- Data in Transit: All communication between our apps and your connected services uses HTTPS encryption.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. However, we may share your information under the following circumstances:
